Thank you for caring!
Here’s how you can continue to help our caregivers and community
At Lake City Medical Center, we care like family. We support each other, our patients and our community. And we know many of you want to help and support our colleagues, facilities and communities with the COVID-19 response.
Lake City Medical Center is taking proactive measures to help ensure the health and safety of patients, caregivers, colleagues and our communities. At this time, the best way to safely support those working on the front lines is to:
Keep yourself and others healthy
Stay home whenever possible, wash your hands often and practice social distancing by staying at least six feet away from others. Follow these and all of the guidelines set forth by local, state and federal public health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as we work to slow the spread of the virus.
If you are interested in helping our community in others ways, we urge you to consider making a blood donation through Lifesouth as our nation’s blood supplies are critically low.
PPE product donations
Lake City Medical Center truly appreciates the generous outpouring of support we are receiving from the communities we serve. However, based on current CDC guidelines, we are not accepting homemade masks at this time.
We will gladly accept donations of manufactured, approved masks, face shields and other personal protective equipment from hardware stores, schools or other sources.
HCA Healthcare Supply Chain has a hotline to better assist with collecting these items. Please contact (855) 815-3859 for assistance
*Please note that donations to any of our facilities are not tax-deductible and receipts will not be given.
We are truly grateful for our community’s support and any donations to help protect our healthcare staff and patients!
