Lake City Medical Center Appoints Mark A. Miller as Chief Executive Officer

Lake City, FL – Lake City Medical Center, an affiliate of HCA, announces the appointment of Mark A. Miller to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective Feb. 1, 2015. Miller brings 10 years of healthcare experience to this role, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. His previous experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Associate Administrator at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Va.

“I am both energized and excited about the opportunity at Lake City Medical Center,” said Miller. “We will all work diligently together to continue to provide Lake City and its surrounding areas with the quality healthcare the community deserves.”

Miller received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University.
